Certificate of Completion

These certificates are given to the trainee on the successful completion of a cruising course at level Competent Crew, Day Skipper and Coastal skipper

Certificates of Competency

To obtain a certificate of Competency a sailor must be assessed by a Yacht master Instructor appointed by the RYA. This is a separate assessment. From time to time GISC will organise a Yacht master assessment at Coastal skipper or Yachtmaster Offshore level at an extra cost and outside ordinary course time A Certificate of Competency is recognised by maritime authorities through out the world and are open to anyone with the required experience.
